Calumet District is part of the Pathway to Adventure Council (PTAC), Scouting America.  

Calumet District spans over thirty Communities, from Orland Park to Homewood.  From Lansing to Matteson, and from Oak Forest to Beecher.

Scouts will have the opportunity to earn two Eagle Required Merit Badges:

  • Citizenship in the World 
  • Environmental Science 
  • Fish and Wildlife Management 

There is @ $15.00 fee for this event due at registration check-in to cover supply costs.

Sign Up is required by Friday, October 18th. Space is limited to the first 20.

Merit Badge College at Munster High School

Saturday, November 9, 2024

Join us for an opportunity to complete a variety of merit badges, both Eagle-required and elective! Check-in begins at 8:30am. There will be four periods in the schedule.

Lunch will not be provided – Scouts should bring a sack lunch! Concessions will be available for purchase.

Cub Scout Den Leader Training

If you still have position-specific training to cross off your list, please join us for an in-person session led by members of your local training committee. New den leaders are especially welcome! 

Note: This training takes place immediately after and at the same location as the Council Impact Meeting. Participants are welcome to come early to join the Impact Meeting before the training begins.

Cost: $5.00 (cost of trained strip and card!)

When: Saturday, November 16, 2024. 12:15pm – 3:45pm

PTAC Presents 2025 Council Camporee

September 19th – 21st, 2025

Beginning on June 1, 2024 you can reserve your unit’s spot for just $25! This will ensure prime camping location and your preferred show seating!

Full registration opens on January 1, 2025.
